This assembly is a complete replacement for your existing strobe board and tube. No soldering required. We've redesigned it with a high-performance long life (5 million flashes) horseshoe tube, and added a new shield and reflector/diffuser assembly. The light is diffused downwards to reduce reflections, directed forwards to illuminate the playfield area, and shot sideways to flash the top area.
Unlike some other substitutes, this tube flashes at the full 6 - 7 flash per second rate for strobe multiball.
The full assembly is shown in the top right, it ships with grommets, spacers, acorn nuts and "keeper" screws. The lower left shows the board and tube assembly separated from the shield. That orange stuff is insulating foam that is good to 450F, so don't worry about the tube heating up.
