High Brightness Clear LEDs

High-brightness LEDs in various colors for lighting projects. Our LEDs are all packaged in clear epoxy, and are selected for very high brightness. Use 3mm LEDs where space is a constraint, and 5mm LEDs for maximum brightness. You may wish to grind the ends for applications where the LED is viewed directly, or used to illuminate an area. An unmodified LED throws a fairly bright but narrow spot.

Some possible applications:

Creature tail light mod: 5mm red 500 ohm resistors
MM Dragon:               3mm eyes (yellow, green, amber); 5mm red mouth
Spot lighting:                5mm warm white or white LED
TZ clock                      5mm white or warm white, ground ends, angled
